Evening courses are available for the Foundation, Figure/Portrait & Sculpture

Evening Courses: Monday And Tuesday 6:30 to 9:30

Foundation: Monday or Tuesday, 6.30-9.15pm

The evening course follows the same curriculum as the daytime foundation course.  Tutors works alongside the students to provide clear instruction. Demonstrations and critiques are also central to the teaching. 

Figure/Portrait: Monday or Tuesday, 6.30-9.15pm

The class, suitable for those who have already completed the foundation course, alternates between portrait and figure.  All studies are done from life with guidance, critiques and demonstrations provided by the tutors.  

 

Groups are kept to a maximum of 12; cost: £350/term (10 weeks)

  

SculptureSculpture Course (beginners): Monday, 7-9pm
The course, led by Lavender Hill Studios founder, is suited to beginners and held in our specially adapted studio space.  Scott Pohlschmidt will introduce students to the basics of sculpture.  Starting with constructing armatures, students will learn to copy a cast, working and finishing simple shapes in the first five weeks.  The second half of term will be focused on the portrait.  Casting is not included in the course but Scott can advise as necessary.
